We are currently recruiting for participants for Propel Life Science Programme. The programme is run in two phases, the first phase will start in May 2010. We are looking for entrepreneurs / businesses with global potential.

- To achieve a turnover of €1 million within 3 years
- Will grow to employ 10 people within 3 years

Applications will be received up until 12p.m. on Friday 30th April. All applications received will be reviewed and shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. Interviews will be held between 6th - 10th May 2010. To ensure selection for the Programme, you must be available for interview within these dates.
25 participants will be for selected for Phase 1 based on the interview.
Phase 1 will consist of full day workshops over 2 Saturdays, 22nd May and 12th June 2010. These workshops will cover the fundamentals of starting your own business and equip participants with the foundation stones required to take their business idea further.
The 25 participants from Phase 1, will be required to present their business idea to a review panel at the end of Phase 1. Based on this and their participation in Phase 1, 12 candidates will be selected to progress to Phase 2. Phase 2 of the Propel Programme requires a full time commitment for 8 months.

| Incubation Space & Facilities |
 |
| Each incubation centre provides access to a range of facilities including telephone, broadband, meeting & dining rooms, and office facilities like photocopier, fax, etc. |

| Mentoring |
 |
| Mentors within the programme will work both on a one-to-one basis and within a team setting with participants providing expert advice. Mentors will be sourced specifically for each participant from the Enterprise Ireland Mentor Programme to ensure that an appropriate match is made between mentor and participant. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
| Other Support |
 |
| Participants of the PROPEL programme will develop a robust plan for their business. Some participants may have even achieved some sales.However to accelerate growth many participants are likely to seek investors. An important component of the PROPEL Ideas into Business Programme will be to organise a customised event to introduce participants to potential investors. Participants will be fully supported in preparing for these introductions |

| 1:1 Industry Expertise |

| Participants will also receive a minimum of 8 x 1:1 industry expert sessions from the Propel team during Phase 2. Project requirements will be matched with industry experts experience to help and support the project on its business development path. |
